A sticky post is a post that is always displayed first in the list of blog posts, even if it isn’t the most recently published post.

A term is a grouping within a taxonomy. If you have a category called “Reviews”, then “Reviews” is the term and “category” is the taxonomy.

Themes govern how a WordPress site looks and functions. Every theme includes its own design, layout and functionality.

The trash is where your posts, pages, attachments and comments end up when you click the “Trash” link.

URL, short for Uniform Resource Locator, is another word for a web address.
